What is the appropriate age for one to start having sex / when is the right time to start having sex
Reaching puberty or having sexual feelings is not a justification or guarantee for one to start engaging in sexual activities. Cool guys’ wait until they find their intimate partner and both are ready and have made independent decisions freely on their future. Having sex before one is ready and the body is immature has its own implications and mostly the results are saddening and undesirable to both.
Young people have to know that it is not a must to have sex just because your body is experiencing sexual feelings. Some young people are regretting for a wrong and hasty decision they took in starting indulging in sex before they were ready to face the aftermath of it. Some have ended up contracting STIs, HIV and some have become mothers at a tender age on first attempt of sex.
Those that are mature enough, ready and understand what sex is can start having sex. Do not have sex because of pressure from friends or family because there is no harm to wait for sex till you reach the appropriate age and you are ready.
