Adherence to ARV’s
I’m a guy aged 21 and I’m HIV positive. I am on ART treatment and my immunity seems to have improved because I am much healthier now, should I continue taking my medication or I can stop?

Firstly let me thank you for your question, a person who is HIV positive is supposed to take ART for the rest of his or her life so that they should always be healthy.
If you stop taking the treatment, the virus will multiply again which increases the viral load and weakens the body immunity which can lead to opportunistic diseases and in severe instances it can lead to death. It is therefore important to continue taking your treatment at the right time always.
